Hello all! I am so excited to be a part of the Menomonee Falls school district. This is my first year and prior to arriving here at Menomonee Falls I have been to many schools both near and far.
I graduated from started college at Marquette University but then transferred to UW-Milwaukee after my freshman year. While student teaching I worked in 4 various Milwaukee Public Schools. After I graduated in 2012 with a Cross Categorical 18-21 license, I started working at Rufus King IB High School with Milwaukee Public Schools. At King, I was working with students who were highly impacted by their disabilities within a restricted classroom. I worked at King for two years, which truly flew by.
I sadly left my students for an amazing opportunity. I received a grant for a Teaching Fellowship in Israel. I made the trek to move to Israel and I lived there from August 2014 to July 2015. This summer, I have been transitioning back into American life and looking for things to keep me busy.
Out of the blue, this wonderful position opened up in Menomonee Falls and I could not pass it up. Starting my fourth year of teaching, I will be working with the students in special education ages 18-21 and working with these specific adults while they transition out of high school. I will also be completing a duel masters with an online Loyola program and cooperative program between UW-Madison and UW-Whitewater.
The best way to get a hold of me would be via school email at: email@example.com.
